Veterans Resource is a community-based non-profit 501(c)3 providing expertise in outpatient mental health counseling for veterans and their families. We specialize in treating combat stress related issues and the effects it has on relationships within the family. Our treatment model is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that has been approved by the US Department of Veteran Affairs and the Department of Defense as an efficient and rapid treatment for Posttraumatic Stress. Veterans Resource was founded by experts in this treatment model and has these professionals on staff.

We are committed to providing confidential and safe therapeutic services to men and women in the military and their families on a donation basis. Additionally, Veterans Resource has a particular interest in treating women veterans coping with the effects of military sexual trauma.

Our clinicians look forward to assisting each person, couple, and/or family in their desire to heal, learn, and conquer their fears. We look forward to collaborating together to help veterans and their families.

Quotes

"My biggest problem was that sometimes I would get so angry that I would just do anything. I didn't care in the moment. Fist fights, you name it. It got to where I didn't want to go out much, because I didn't know what was going to happen. The EMDR helped me."
